For nearly 20 years following the 2002 tariff slashes, legal aid lawyers faced stagnant rates and a lack of professional recognition. That changed in 2018 with the incorporation of A.L.L.
Through province-wide solidarity and the effective job action of 2019, we secured a landmark settlement that continues to improve our working conditions today. Wearing this pin is a reminder of that success—a cautionary tale against complacency and a signal that we remain united as we enter future negotiations.

Gold Supporter Pin:
Cost: $150 (or 2 for $200).
Exclusivity: Reserved for members with 3+ years of uninterrupted dues or one term of volunteer service. Statement: An outward sign of long-term commitment and leadership by example. |
Silver Supporter Pin:
Cost: $50
Open to All: Available to all members and supporters of the legal aid community. Statement: A vital way to support A.L.L.'s fundraising and advocacy initiative's. |
