2026/2027 Membership Fees
Important Notice: Membership Fee Updates and Annual Structuring
Effective September 1, 2026, A.L.L. will be implementing an updated membership fee structure.
First time:
This is the first fee increase since A.L.L. began in 2018. The Board has approved a fee increase of $50 per year for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 fiscal years.
A break for new lawyers:
The Board has capped the increase at just $15 for those in the 0 to 2 years of call category to ensure we continue to support and recruit new lawyers early in their careers.
Help us help you:
To fairly share the cost of running the association, current members are asked to have a conversation with legal aid lawyers who are not members to step up and join A.L.L. as they have been receiving the benefit of the increased tariff rates negotiated by A.L.L.
Streamlining:
Alongside the rate adjustments, we are streamlining our renewal process. Membership fees will now be strictly structured as annual fees operating on a fixed fiscal year from September 1 to August 31. Going forward, regardless of the date fees are paid, they will apply to the current fiscal year ending August 31.
Lock In Current Rates:
Want to avoid this fee increase? Any members who pay their 2026/2027 fees before August 31 will be locked in at our current, lower rates.
